We love everything swimming. We are dedicated volunteers teaching our young to be confident swimmers and learn water safety at GB Swimming Inc. We had nine coaches last year and currently we have only five and we found it hard to set up the lanes, man the door and cover classes. Can you help us in any capacity, no experience necessary?

Registrations are now open!
We're excited to announce that registrations for the 2025/2026 Swim Season are now open for children and youths to learn to swim with the Golden Bay Swimming club at theTe Waka Kura o Mohua / Golden Bay High School pool in Takaka.
The 2025/2026 Swim Season starts with assessments on Monday 6th October 2025. As places are limited, all swimmers must register their interest online at ht

New pool covers! Thank you sponsors!
Massive thanks to all our swim club members and sponsors, Golden Bay Community Trust and Trash Palace Takaka , for helping us to raise enough funds to purchase two brand new covers for the Golden Bay High School pool in time for the 2021-2022 season. We can't wait to see them on the pool!
