Te Waka Kura o Mōhua Pool Rules
No lifeguard on duty.
All swimmers must be vigilant about safety.
- A responsible adult must actively supervise all children under 18 years old (except for students in training with Principal’s permission)
- Swimmers must never swim alone
- Never swim unless the pool covers are fully removed
- Never swim while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- No food or drink to be consumed anywhere on pool grounds
- No glassware is permitted in the pool area
- Diving is only permitted in the designated diving area of the pool
- Diving off the board is not permitted during lane swimming time
- No running, jumping, or bombing
- No holding under, pushing or screaming
- No somersaults/flipping off the diving board or side of pool
- Do not swim under or around the plunge area of the diving board
- Boogie boards, surf boards, kayaks are not to be used in this pool unless specifically authorised by GBHS staff
- Avoid holding your breath and swimming long distances underwater unless under supervised training
- No pets allowed in pool area
- Keep the side of the pool clean and tidy
- Be sun smart
- Ensure the pool gate is securely closed when leaving
