Yay! The season has started!

Well, our first week has kicked off and despite having a few hiccups with assessments cancelled, buckets of rain and a whole new flash registration system; we are pretty stoked with it all! To see all our swimmers in the water ... well, it's why we do what we do!

We have had a bit of change around with our swim programs this year. We are going to be starting our Eels (beginners) in February, when it's nice and warm for our youngest swimmers. We have our Orcas and Marlins making their own swim schedule with as little or as many days they want, and our Dolphin and Snapper groups are getting a couple days of swim coaching in a week. We have tried our hardest to accomodate everyone with their Mon & Wed or Tues & Thurs swim times, but if it really isn't going to work out for your family, please let us know and we will see what we can do.

We're now emailing invitations to our new login registration. Please login, create your own password and once in there, please update your swimmers details with any medical info we need to know about, and emergency contacts. This information is very confidential and will not be shared. Once logged in, you will see the fees owing, the class your swimmer is in and your coaches details. **Please be mindful that this is a new system that we have had to manually update from emails so if you see a name spelt wrong, phone number incorrect, please change it when you log in. Also all the fees haven't been allocated yet but when they are, you will receive an invoice and then see it when you log in.

On our website at goldenbayswimming.nz, we have our pool rules, information about our club and our swimming season, and a calendar of events to keep you up to date.

We are all volunteers and our highly qualified coaches (we are so lucky) are out there everyday giving our children the life skills of swimming. Be kind and help out where and when you can.

A big shout out to the high school pool and all those involved at providing us with time in the pool for our kids. And lastly, to our committee, who has also been working hard to get this season off to a smooth start (again, we are so very lucky).
